Vice President of Finance & Operations Dennis F. Newburne has been an Operations, Finance, and Production Manager for more than twenty years. Following a career as a stage director and actor, Dennis joined PBS member station KQED in the Unit Managers department in 1980. He coordinated the financial reviews for KQED's local and national productions and directed a number of their in-house production projects. Moving over to manage the National Clearinghouse for Ancillary Sales at KQED, Dennis continued to administer a variety of KQED's local and national productions, including Yan Can Cook and This Week in Northern California. Dennis joined Michael Hoff Productions in 1997 as Production Manager and Assistant Director for the studio series Petline. In 2001 Dennis became Director of Finance and Operations for Hoff, and in 2005 he was promoted to Vice President of Finance & Operations. He now oversees all accounting, banking, projections, budgeting, purchasing and production systems. His smart business sense and keen understanding of television finances and schedules has ensured Hoff's ability to consistently deliver quality programming on time and on budget.
