NEW SEASON OF WEIRD, TRUE & FREAKY ON ANIMAL PLANET AND THE CHAIN GANG: MARICOPA COUNTY ON DISCOVERY CHANNEL LAUNCH FALL PREMIERES FOR HOFF PRODUCTIONS

SAN FRANCISCO, Ca., October 5, 2009 -- Terrifying animal phobias.  Creepy creatures removed from human bodies.  And hardcore criminals with one last chance at redemption.  Hoff Productions announces the return of series Weird, True & Freaky on Animal Planet and the premiere of The Chain Gang: Maricopa County on Discovery Channel.  Weird, True & Freaky airs Tuesdays at 9 PM and runs through the Fall.  The Chain Gang: Maricopa County premieres on Discovery Channel on Monday, October 5th at 9 PM.

Weird, True & Freaky profiles the most jaw dropping and astonishing stories from the animal kingdom.  From mutated medical mysteries to obese beasts bursting at the seams, Weird, True and Freaky goes global to compile an astonishing array of footage, photos and shocking viral videos.  The Chain Gang: Maricopa County takes you inside one of the most notorious and dangerous jails in the country, where inmates are housed outdoors in military tents and rival gangs are chained together to perform hard-core labor in the public eye.

In addition to the Fall premieres, production continues on season two of Extreme Forensics for Investigation Discovery and Man Vs. Fish with Matt Watson for Discovery Channel.  Both are slated to premiere in 2010.
