Director of Development Rex Vigil has over ten years of experience in program development and demo production. He started his career at TechTV in San Francisco where he developed and produced interstitials for the network's international channel and created sizzle reels used to sell the domestic channel's programming to its international partners. In 2004, Rex joined Hoff Productions as Development Coordinator. In 2008, Rex was promoted to Manager of Development and to Director of Development in 2010.
Since joining Hoff's development team, Rex has been essential in generating Hoff's program ideas, sourcing talent, producing sales demos, and generating sales. With his keen sense of audience taste and deep understanding of program development and production, he has developed over 290 hours of Hoff's programming. Among his credits are "Ultimate Factories" for National Geographic Channel, "Weird, True and Freaky" for Animal Planet, "Extreme Forensics" for Investigation Discovery, "Green Wheels" for VOOM, "Built For Speed" for Speed Channel, and "Best Food Ever" for TLC. Rex holds a degree in Broadcast Communications from San Francisco State University.
